About the Regional Service Resolution Process
The Regional Service Resolution Process helps to provide consistent, transparent and equitable decision-making in situations where the needs of the child or youth and family are extensive or of longer duration, and are beyond the resources available in the local community.
The service is provided by a Regional Service Resolution Committee (RSR) in each region.
The Role of the Regional Service Resolution Committee
- Service Resolution. The committee reviews the Intensive Services Coordination Services’ Integrated Service Plan and makes recommendations for changes or access to other resources to assist in meeting the child, youth and family needs.
Referral
Referral is through local Intensive Service Coordination Services only.
Families or service providers (with consent) may self-refer to Intensive Services Coordination. Please see regional contact information below.

The Regional Services Resolution Process is available to children, youth and families supported by the Intensive Service Coordination Service in their local area, but who still have unresolved needs.
The service is available in Simcoe County, York Region, Durham Region, Peterborough County, Northumberland County, Haliburton County and the City of Kawartha Lakes.
